This is a nice looking light. I have gotten several compliments on it. I had a professional install it. He was a rip off at $400 to hang the light. There was no electrical in that spot so he did the wiring for that also. It looks nice above the pool table and it also puts out great light for evening playing. I had it put on a dimmer switch and I got LED bulbs for it. They cost almost 50 per bulb but it gives the light a more unique design and they last 20 yrs! I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because I thought the lamps are not perfectly even. We have a 7 ft table and it looks great.

This is a nice looking light, BUT be warned!! horrible to get this thing ready to hang and get it in place. I put this in with a suspended ceiling, and beleive me, there are NO provisions in this light kit to do that at all!! This is obvioulsy designed to go into a high, sheetrock or plaster ceiling. I had to go to the home store 5 times in 2 1/2 days to finally get this thing to the point where it was hanging. And during the process, due to the chain that is far to heavy duty to just bend the links open and closed as they suggest, during that process the very light duty and exposed grind wire frayed and broke, so I have to repair that, and had to actually go out and get lighter duty chain links that matched the black chain so I could pry them open and actually hang the light. Had to go and buy different length threaded hanging studs, just in NO WAY adaptable to a drop ceiling unless you totally reinvent how this goes together, and then, when we finally go all that into place, we realized that we were trying to get the light to hang so close to the ceiling due to how it hangs from the corners, that the chains were almost hrozontal and straining the brackets. This light needs 2 or 3 options to accomodate different types of installations, just a horrible experience to hang, but once its up it does look very nice. I think the company could make this much easier to install with a little thought and effort, such as some kind of connector rather than trying to wire this monster while having to hold it in mid air with hanging plates dangling everywhere. The wiring should be much heavier duty and preferably preinstalled through the chain as trying to do that also resulted in damage to the wiring.

Easy to hang with TWO people. Received light the next day after my order. Set light bottom 64" from finished floor. My ceiling was drywall construction and prewired for mounting.

Installed by myself in <30 minutes. I recommend using (2) hooks for better weight distribution eather than the single-plate mount provided. i didn'y even need to consult directions but would have for the single-mount. The (2) hooks makes it much more steady over expensive pool tables you don't want to damage from falling lights :)

I was sent the light fixture and a Globe of the world, not sure how these two tie together. Had to send the globe back and request the light shades to be sent, delayed my used and was an inconvienance.
