We hung this over a new 8ft pool table, and it is perfect. I shopped around, in stores and online, and this was the light for us...it matches the current fixtures in our house and I still can't believe the price for this light. I saw much less ornate and more flimsy looking lights for hundreds more. Don't hesitate to buy this if it matches your taste and decor. It was very easy to hang, is quite 'expensive looking' and is the perfect size for hanging over a pool table. We also use it as the primary light source in that part of the room, and it does OK with 3 100W bulbs. With the heavy glass shades, it's really more designed for illuminating a table. However, I still like it, because when it's on the rest of the room is illuminated, but not blaring...this is good for us, as we have a projection system on the other end of this room. Overall, perfect purchase for us!

I really loved this light design. My first one hung easily but one side of main unit was not fully screwed together. Anchor seemed stripped. None of the globes hung evenly. No adjustments. Really looked shotty. [...] I was a gift from my mom. She was so excited couldn't tell her. Ordered another. This one was anchored better. Globes still very uneven. I was able to bend the light enough so the globes were parallel to table. One can't be tightened or it is really out of wack. They still aren't level. If you are looking for quality and style, keep looking. Just style and no details it looks great from alittle away.
